Ukraine displaced-people programme
Health, protection and reintegration support for people displaced by the war in Ukraine.
Why this response exists
Millions of people remain displaced inside and outside Ukraine. Oblasts, host-community arrangements and partner organisations need to be confirmed.
Requires NGO confirmation: Population figures, districts and access constraints for Ukraine need to be confirmed.
What the programme aims to achieve
- Connect displaced households with reliable health and welfare information.
- Provide psychosocial support for children, carers and older people.
- Support employment and re-skilling for displaced adults.
What we actually do
- Health awareness and first-aid orientation sessions.
- Psychosocial and trauma-informed support groups.
- Protection information covering rights, services and safe referral.
- Employment readiness, language and digital skills training.
Requires NGO confirmation: Activity schedules, participant numbers and results for Ukraine need to be confirmed.
Protection standards for this programme
Safeguarding is a condition of every activity, not an add-on.
- Trauma-informed facilitation standards apply to every session.
- Volunteers working with children complete additional screening.
- Reporting concerns is confidential and never affects access to support.
