What happens after you proceed to secure payment
- What happens when I click Proceed to Secure Payment?
- You leave this website and continue to the Charity Hand payment page hosted by Jjuma Global at pay.jjuma.com. Your card or mobile money details are entered there over HTTPS and are never stored on charityhand.org.
- Which payment methods can I use?
- The Jjuma Global page shows the methods available to you, including mobile money and card payments, and confirms the final amount and currency before you pay.
- How do I get a receipt?
- Jjuma Global emails a payment confirmation to the address you enter on the payment page. If it does not arrive, email info@charityhand.org with the date, amount and payment reference and we will resend it.
- Can I change or cancel a monthly gift?
- Yes. Monthly gifts can be changed or cancelled at any time — email info@charityhand.org and we will action it, or manage it from the confirmation email you receive.
- Is my gift used for the programme I chose?
- The programme area you select is recorded with your gift. If you choose "where it is needed most", funds are allocated across programme areas according to current need.
- Something went wrong during payment — what now?
- Nothing is charged unless the Jjuma Global page confirms the payment. You can retry from the donate page, or email info@charityhand.org and we will help you complete your gift.
